I am not expecting many people to donate but you can greatly help me in another way. Please if you could just take a moment and reblog this post it will greatly help me to make this all possible
What your donations are for:
- Teaching supplies such as Teacher’s Textbooks for English and Math
- Airfare costs
- Raw materials to build myself a home in Pignon
- Classes to teach me Creole due to the fact that Creole is the widely spoken language in Haiti and in order to teach effectively I will need to be fluent
- Food and water
- Other costs of living
Earlier last month as some of you may know, I traveled to the town of Pignon in Haiti to help out with the poor whether that meant by assisting in construction, teaching English and math, or many other things. This trip was the most eye opening experience of my life to date. It was very different to see starving children and animals lying on the sides of the unpaved roads, it was difficult seeing little children without food or water, it was different knowing that back at home I took everything I had for granted.
I have made the decision to go back to Pignon, only this time I am going to stay and live among the Haitian people as an English and Math professor at one of the few universities in Haiti.
The reason I am writing all this is because I can’t do this on my own. I need help raising enough money to make this all possible.
I know most of you may not make a donation but at the very least all I ask is if you could please reblog this post so that others may see and maybe help me make this possible.
Thank you so much for your support
